For one of my final projects this last semester we were assigned a group and then told to choose a location and find a problem within it and design a solution to fix it. My group ended up being just myself and one other classmate, Jaezar. We chose to do our project at SFSU and since both of us have been students there for a couple years we instantly figured out that we needed to tackle the problem of the school having no sense of community for the students. We ended up coming up with and promoting for (posters, website, blog, etc.) a community building experience for students on campus to take part in. Here is a timelapse of the drawing, 2 hours of drawing in 5 minutes. You can check out our website here.

Here is a poster I finished up [partial design credit to Alix & Shawn
] for the first ever SFSU DAI Design Film Series. TheĀ AIGA at SFSU [I am the Director of Communication] and IDSA at SFSU have started the design film series as a way for students in the Design and Industry Department to socialize outside the classroom and learn about design in the process.
Funny decals for your walls, check out the rest here
Here is what I’ve done since those others..

I am working on a poster idea for the SFSU DAI Portfolio Nite (not sure why they wanted to use ‘nite’ instead of ‘night’) I made these letters from folded strips of paper and wanted to show the process of making/designing something since that is what the event is showcasing. It’s not quite done yet, I think I want to place the letters over this entire poster (using it as the background image) in the layout you see in the final frame. I also want to keep these letters their original color (shown in the second photo)

This is a logo I made for the SFSU AIGA group blog site. I used some of the lead type that our group is getting organized so we can get the SFSU DAI Department Letterpress running again. You can check out what it looks like here.
I made this bookshelf for a final. It had to be made out of cardboard and had to hold exactly three books. The three books I chose were all kite themed so I themed the bookshelf that way too. Here is a timelapse video I made of the process, I will get some pics up soon.
